Ambassadors
MBOT networking events (GMM, MBX and SN) are organized by MBOT staff and our Ambassadors Committee. This committee works with members - new and renewing - to help them make the most of their membership, introducing them to other members at events and helping them get involved with different MBOT activities or member benefits.
Ambassadors serve as greeters at all MBOT networking events - look for the person with the blue ribbon and be sure to say 'hello!'

Business Development
The Business Development Committee is a task force whose membership is comprised of MBOT directors, senior staff,
members-at-large and business community leaders. The mandate of the Committee is to advise the Board of Directors of the Mississauga Board of Trade and develop strategies for a sustainable and long-term growth strategy to increase value to members.

Finance
Finance Committee supports and makes recommendations to the Board of Directors on tasks related to the organization's financial policies and procedures, ensuring sound financial management and transparency of the board of trade.
Finance Committee is comprised of members with financial-related background, skill set and experience, particularly in areas of accounting, banking, and investments. The committee generally meets once a month or on an as-needed basis.

Mississauga Board of Trade Policy & Government Affairs committee is comprised of representatives of businesses and organizations of all sizes and sectors. This large and active committee meets monthly to discuss various issues impacting business, and helps to develop Mississauga Board of Trade's policy positions and advocacy strategies.
