The Path to Cleaner Water

Lakeview Village is redefining what sustainable living looks like. This begins with integrating state-of-the-art storm water systems to help minimize the impact of runoff flowing into our Great Lakes, improve water quality, and reduce the strain on local infrastructure through flood mitigation. Green roofs, urban rain gardens, bioretention planters and swales, and permeable pavement will allow for water to be captured and repurposed for other uses, such as water features and landscape irrigation.

The Future of Energy

District Energy, a low-carbon renewable energy system, will provide an efficient and cost-effective solution to heating and cooling buildings using an elaborate network of underground pips and effluent from the nearby Water Resource Recovery Facility. Because of District Energy, we’ll be able to power the future community at Lakeview Village sustainability.
