It has been the Mississauga Board of Trade| MBOT’s pleasure to have participated in the COVID-19 Rapid Test Screening Initiative in partnership with both the Ontario and Canadian Chamber of Commerce along with the Ontario and Canadian governments, for the past 10 months.
Through this initiative, local chambers of commerce and boards of trade rolled out free rapid tests for small to medium-sized businesses and we are delighted to share that MBOT has distributed over 250,000 rapid tests KITS to our members and business community.
The program has assisted businesses keep their employees and families safe by curbing the spread of COVID-19 at work so that we can all get on the path to economic recovery faster.
At this time MBOT will be retiring our participation in this program March 31st 2022 in order to continue to deliver on all programs, services and business supports to serve our members and community.
We would also like to mention a huge thank you to one of our valued MBOT members and partner Morguard for allowing MBOT to distribute the Rapid Tests from their facilities. We appreciate their dedication in supporting our business community.
